My philosophy about interior design is that it should be down-to-earth and approachable. I don’t believe that the decorating process has to be expensive or intimidating. My goal is to maximize value and impact for my clients by sourcing high quality items that are reasonably priced while mixing in a few luxury or high-end elements in places where they will have the most impact or provide necessary durability (like a statement chandelier or a well-built sofa).
As a former attorney and human resources executive, I use the analytical skills and attention to detail that I developed in my prior careers to break down the design process into the critical elements of function, style, and proportion. Then I use those building blocks to create updated spaces that are beautiful, balanced and complete!
I can happily spend all day sourcing and selecting paint, wallpaper, tile, furniture, lighting and decorative accessories, but I know that not everyone feels that way or has the time to do it, That's where I come in to alleviate that burden and stress. Throughout the process, I am always mindful of my clients' objectives, timeframe and budget. Most importantly, I ensure that the design process is stress-free and that my clients love the results!
